Legitimate Work At Home Opportunities for Stay At Home Moms

There are several types of home-based business opportunities for stay at home moms.  Many stay at home moms are seeking legitimate business opportunities that they can build up into a lucrative source of income for their families.  The internet is full of scams but the following opportunities are some of the legitimate businesses that can create the freedom and financial independence stay at home moms are in search of.

Selling Items Online
There are a few ways you can go about this.  You can obtain a reseller's license and purchase items wholesale and sell through an online store.  If purchasing wholesale items is not of interest, you can also market other people's items and earn commission from sales (also known as affiliate marketing.)  Many stay at home moms also come up with their own product(s) created out of necessity which they then reproduce and sell online.  Selling online is a great source of income and with the right products, an online store could be a source of income for many years.

Writing for Profits

Writing for a living may not seem like a legitimate home-based business but you would be surprised at how many people actually earn a full-time income from their blogs or ghostwriting for others.  If you have a knack for writing and enjoy writing about a particular subject, you could start up a blog (most blog software is free) and begin writing.  Once your audience grows, you will be able to monetize your blog with PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ads and sell advertising space. Ghostwriting is the writing of articles, ebooks, etc. for other companies.  You can create a portfolio of your writing and sign up at freelance web sites to bid on various projects.

Network Marketing
Network marketing is an ideal opportunity for many work at home moms.  It involves the direct selling of a particular product or products and also includes the building up of a downline.  A downline includes the people you recruit and you earn commissions on their sales.  When you sign up with a network marketing company, you are also in someone's downline and they are known as your sponsor.  The great thing about network marketing is that everyone is helping each other succeed.  The more successful everyone is, the more income created for everyone involved.

How Affiliate Programs Work

If you look at the top online retailers in any industry sector, you shall immediately realize how affiliate programs are working to increase conversion rates. Almost all companies that were selected as the top 50 e-retailers in the 'The Internet Retailer Best of the Web Top 50 Retail Sites' have affiliate programs.

Affiliate programs are also recognized by terms such as "associate programs" or "publisher programs". This is how affiliate programs work: You build a website for your own business, products and services, or with the sole purpose of promoting different types of gadgets or merchandise. You sign up with the affiliate program of a website and strategically place their link or banner on your website. A visitor to your website finds that the description of a particular product coincides with exactly what he has been looking for. He goes on to click through to the product manufacturer's website. Any visitor who purchases your affiliate partners product owing to your promotion, earns you a commission.

All websites want to have very high paying affiliate programs. It is a misconception that affiliates only promote computer software, like anti-spyware products, or gambling websites. Affiliate programs cater to all kind of businesses. You as an affiliate may earn as much as over $1 million per year or as less as $2 per week. Your earnings are directly proportional to the hard work, effectiveness of strategy and technique, and the number products you promote. If you start out the right way, the sky is the limit!

Following are factors to consider in order to be part of the highest paying Internet Marketing Affiliate Programs:
• Advertising space on your website is very valuable to you. Thus, selecting companies and retailers that not only pay you more for your services, but who offer a product that complements your website and is directly or indirectly related to your line of work.
• If your website has been constructed with the very purpose of promoting other people's stuff, it is important to stick to one industry, for instance, do not showcase computer software or hardware with something as incongruous as products in health, weight loss, skin care and adult supplements. If the advertisement stands out like a sore thumb, your visitor may recognize it as an overt marketing tool and move on.
• To effectively monetize space on your website, avoid catering to too many affiliates. A web page crowded with advertisements and banners will fritter away traffic.
• A great review, with excellent content and attractive graphics would tempt visitors to click on the available link to visit your affiliate's website to learn more, and maybe purchase the product too!
• The placement of banners on your website must be above the fold, which is the area the user can see before scrolling down. Also, an advertisement placed at the top left corner would attract more attention than one that is placed towards the bottom. It should be worked into the design and almost appear to be an integral part of the website.

There are two ways of locating a company with high-paying affiliate programs. You may visit various websites running affiliate programs or simply search for quality affiliate programs through affiliate program directories.

Thus, to establish an affiliate partnership with Paynet Systems, you may find the affiliate program featured in 'Gr1innovations.com Directory of Ways to Make Money' or you may simply log on to http://www.paynetsystems.com/html/affiliates.htm. Paynet Systems offers an opportunity to make $50-$100 for every approved merchant account generated by your website or referred verbally. This is a highly lucrative offer and the choice is yours to make. Fill out the affiliate online application form and Paynet Systems support team will always be available to help or to answer any question. Sign up now!

Creating Instant Affiliate Commissions in 4 Essential Ways

One of the easiest ways of starting an online business and earning quick profits is through affiliate marketing. With no website to develop, no product development to achieve, no refunds or customer problems to deal with, this is by far the most effective way of developing your online presence.

If you already have your affiliate products and you're working at making more sales, an increase in commissions is the obvious goal of everyone. With more and more products hitting the online market, it's essential to follow some simple yet crucial steps. So what are they?

If you want your affiliate program commissions to take off, literally overnight, these are the steps you need to seriously consider;

1. Do your research and check out the programs you're thinking about promoting. It's pretty obvious that you only want to promote a product that will give you the maximum paycheck in the shortest possible time.

The main factors to consider when doing this are obvious when you stop and think about them, but more often than not, are not fully considered before putting your time and money into making your product pay.

Check the commission structure and make sure it pays well. Also, try to find products that match your target audience and are already paying well to other affiliates. You soon know when a program isn't meeting up to it's promises - that's the time to reconsider its worth and move on to the next.

As you're probably going to be one of many affiliates promoting the same product, especially if it's a good one, establish your USP - or 'Unique Selling Position'. Set yourself up as offering that little something extra that makes you stand out above the crowd.
Write a short article to give away as an incentive to potential buyers. This gives you both greater credibility and extra drawing power.

Give information that's not only free, but useful. When you do this, if what you give away for free is good, people naturally expect a great deal more from the bought product. Make recommendations about the product within the report if you can, and try to give just enough information to make people need the actual product.

2. When giving away free reports or ebooks, save and collect, at the very least, the name and email addresses of all those who download your gift. It's now widely known that very few people make a purchase on their first introduction to a product. http://content.yieldmanager.com/ak/q.gif

This is where an autoresponder is invaluable as you can create a whole series of follow up messages to send to these prospects to entice them into buying your product. Anywhere between 6 and 10 messages are needed to finally clinch the sale, so automate this process and capitalize on the free report.

Once you have these prospects details, they are yours until the person unsubscribes. This means that you can send them information in the months ahead about other products you're promoting, long after they've bought the original item.

If you develop an
ezine, you are in a perfect position to send more valuable, and occasional free, information to these prospects who now value you as a source of knowledge and useful recommendations. You develop a relationship with them and they may stay with you for years to come. They begin to trust you and your recommendations and eventually, are likely to buy from you again.

3. Never underestimate the power of negotiation. Be prepared to haggle with a seller whose goods you wish to promote. Remember that all merchants need affiliates to market and sell their goods and will be more inclined to change their payment structure than potentially loose business if they see you as a good source of income.

Be bold and you could find yourself receiving a greater slice of the pie for all your advertising efforts. Don't be greedy but be fair and you will be respected for it.

4. Use effective advertising techniques. 'Pay Per Click' will give you the most immediate results if you do your research right. Naturally, Google's Adwords and Overture are the places to start, being leaders in the online PPC field. But, look around and research the smaller players who offer cheaper rates to a smaller audience. These include; ExcelSeek, JumpFind, LookQuick to name just three.

Ezine Top
Sponsor and Solo ads can also give you a huge and quick return on your advertising buck with your ad being received by a responsive audience of your chosen market.

And as with any advertising campaigns - track your results. If you don't know who's clicking what, you'll never know which ads are working.

Use these techniques and you'll soon see an immediate improvement in your affiliate sales. Build on your successes and expansion and growth will follow.

Work at Home Options

If you want to work at home, step one is understanding the options available to you.

Let's start with some basics. There are only TWO things you can do at home, yes, only TWO.

You can telecommute or you can run a business. That's it, TWO.

Telecommuting - This means you have been hired by an employer, and that employer is open to having you work at home anywhere from a few hours a week, to full time. Some folks will work mornings in office, afternoons at home. Afternoons at home, allow them to pick up their
kids, start dinner etc, all while working also. Some folks work every other day in office. This allows them bring work in, drop work off, be available for meetings etc.
You are an employee. You are either paid per hour or per week.

The sentence I see most often posted is "I want to work at home, so I have more time with my kids". Find some folks who do telecommute. Their kids are in daycare, as they need to work. They also end up putting in more than 40 hours per week as they want to make sure they put in their 40 hours and make up for those trips to the store, the trips to pick kids up etc.

Telecommute positions are very tough to find. Most employers are not willing to have employees working unsupervised. Reason is, just look in office. Truly, how many employees give a job their all? How many work hard even when the boss is away? How many come in a few minutes early and leave a few minutes late on a consistent basis? Now let's compare that to how many make personal calls? How many take a few extra minutes on their lunch? How many stand around the water machine chatting? How many day dream and don't produce as much as they can/should? So, most employers are not willing to allow employees to work at home.

Again, speak to some folks who work at home. Ask them point blank what they did to get this job. Most will tell you that they had worked for a long time prior to this arrangement. They will tell you that they know their job inside out. They will tell you that they work over 40 hours per week. They will tell you that they do get "lonely" working all alone. And they'll tell you they do go into the office frequently.

There is no book of
companies that allow telecommuting. I've seen many many ads for folks to buy a book that is supposed to contain the names of companies that allow telecommuting. Those employers who have allowed telecommuting, have done so with an existing employee. My sister telecommutes for HP. But she had her degree in computer science. She has had tons of company training and she worked there 10 years. So putting HP down in a book and telling you that they hire telecommuters is misleading at best, an out and out lie at worst. And you have to pay for that book.

A business - To start there are only TWO things you can sell. You can sell a product or you can sell a service. Look around YOUR town. What do the businesses in YOUR town sell? They all sell either a product or a service. A
home business will be no different, you'll sell a product or a service. If you want to sell a service, look within. What are your skills? Are you proficient with a word processor? If so, you can consider selling your word processing skills. Remember, proficient means near perfect. I can use MS Word, but I could not sell it as a service.

Have you done bookkeeping or billing before? If so, this again, is something you can sell as a service. Are your kids older, in school all day? Consider an errand service. Heck, there are many days I feel I
live in my car LOL. I always have books with me as I'm forever waiting for someone or something. Do a web search for errand services and view what others are offering and at what fees.

How To Succeed With Multilevel Marketing

Joining a MLM Marketing home biz opportunity can be one of the greatest things you can ever do. However before you join if you do not do these necessary key steps which is a foundation for success with MLM Marketing, it will be very easy for you to get lost on the path to success.
Succeeding with MLM Marketing opportunities requires time. And within this time that you spend with your MLM Marketing home biz opportunity, you will have to put in a lot of effort and learning to be able to achieve the full potential that MLM Marketing offers. MLM Marketing opportunities are no way a get rich quick scheme. If you choose to get into MLM Marketing simply because of the hype or you believe that you will get rich quick then get out quick because you will not succeed with MLM Marketing.
MLM Marketing requires people who genuinely want to help others. And this is a great key for success with MLM Marketing. When you choose to help people and you genuinely do want to help people, then more people will be attracted to you who need your help. Imagine with a MLM Marketing opportunity, you can take people who are struggling financially and help them get out of debt and get into wealth.
There are 3 key steps in creating a stable MLM Marketing business on the outset and they include:
- Having an outcome in mind
- Choosing to set goals
- Make a decision
Now let's take a look in depth at each of these important parts in achieving success with MLM Marketing. They are truly a key foundation in your long-term journey. Think of them with the analogy of going on the long journey. It is your map to take you to a destination.
The first thing that you must do before you join a MLM Marketing opportunity is to know what you want from the MLM Marketing opportunity, this is your outcome. Imagine a door in front of you, now when you open this door you see exactly what you want. Not a goal, but how you would like life to be. Think of why you want to be part of the MLM Marketing opportunity. After all, if you have everything you need then why are you choosing to join a MLM Marketing opportunity? Your outcome is the end step. So, you open the door and when you take a step into that new world. That is the end step, your outcome.
Now think of your goals. Most people think of goals as an end step; however goals are simply focused items that we want to achieve. They miss out a important part of what we really want to achieve. You may want to get rich and earn a six figure income and what would happen if you do and with that have no kind of life. So now we take our outcome, our vision and look at the parts. We take the car, the house, the spouse, etc And we set them as goals.
The last bit of this work with the foundation to create MLM Marketing success and probably the most important that will determine what will actually happen is your decision. Without deciding to do something, you can never achieve it. Deciding to succeed at MLM Marketing and consciously doing so is the beginning step of living your vision.

RAKE PROFITS THROUGH AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing is a great resource for either web site developers or merchants. Web site developers can make extra income on their web sites and merchants can sell their products or services with the help of many marketers. If you are new to affiliate marketing, here are some great tips on using affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is super simple. Open an account on the many affiliate marketing sites such as Amazon, Clickbank, Commission Junction and Paydotcom. Within these sites you can easily find products from vendors that you want to sell. Most of these products pay extremely high commission. For instance, on Clickbank, you can find products that pay at least 50%. For products on Amazon, expect 5 to 10%.

Once you sign up and choose your products, you can easily copy and paste the affiliate vendor's product code onto your web site. When a person visits your site and is interested in purchasing an affiliate product, they are passed onto the affiliate marketing site to make that purchase. You automatically get a good commission for finding the customer.

For merchants that have products to sell, you can easily reach thousands of customers each day by offering high commissions to affiliate marketers. The higher the commission or more popular the product the higher the chance web developers will place your product on their web sites to sell. So if you want to make a healthy profit either with a web site or a product, look into affiliate marketing.
